Overview
We want you to have a great experience with every session you book. This policy outlines how refunds work on BookMySession.
Host-Managed Cancellations
Each host sets their own cancellation policy, which is displayed on the event page before you book. Please review this carefully. Common policies include:
- Full refund if cancelled 48+ hours before the session
- 50% refund if cancelled 24–48 hours before
- No refund within 24 hours of the session
Event Cancellations by Host
If a host cancels a session, you will receive a full refund automatically. We aim to process these within 5–7 business days.
Refund Processing
Refunds are processed to the original payment method. UPI refunds typically arrive within 3–5 business days. Bank transfer refunds may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Disputes
If you believe you are entitled to a refund that has not been processed, or if you had a poor experience, please contact us. We review all disputes on a case-by-case basis and aim to resolve them within 7 business days.
Early Bird Bookings
Early bird pricing is non-transferable. If you cancel an early bird booking and rebook later, the standard price will apply. Refunds for early bird bookings follow the same host cancellation policy.
